Another wonderful marvelous incredible (truly) year and we've made it at least to Christmas.
Things are pretty gnarly right now and I'm afraid they're about to get gnarlier but I'm also somehow still somewhat (sometimes) optimistic.
Whatever happens will happen and much of it is and will continue to be out of our control so we just need to be as prepared as we can for it so that's the current mindset.

(The goal this year was to have a complete mess of lights upon lights upon lights and so I bought a bunch of new lights and it still doesn't look like enough lights. Okay tree though.)
