Baby-Killing

I ran across this today (check out a source here):



WTH? Here's to our President-elect and his baby-killing #1 priorities! I just do not understand how people can talk about murder of infants so nonchalantly, with such cavalier attitude and lanugage. I guess we're going to get change in this country after all, but nothing to do with education, foreign policy or the economy, but moral degradation and the ever-lowering of social standards!

    I really enjoyed how he downplayed the whole debate by calling it a "cultural" disagreement, and then talked about how he'd rather focus on the war in Iraq. How can that be when far more humans are dying here due to abortion than there? And personally, correct me if I'm wrong anybody, but I find abortion a MUCH more important topic than the war in Iraq. It seems like the really moral issues get put on the back burner due to other issues. Gay marriage and abortion, for example, were almost non-existent as debate topics during the election once the economy started going down. I would rather have some banks go under and be poor than be wealthy and have the morality of the people degrade around me. Anybody read the Book of Mormon?

    Governments are not instituted to decide things for you, but to protect certain rights that others may attempt to take away, such as life. Since we have all been created equally, from the centegenarian to the fetus, from the idiot to the savant, and from the rich to the poor, our government chooses to defend those lives by making the termination of them illegal.

    It has nothing to do with thinking for yourself or the government taking away your ability to choose.
