Okay, so Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince's release date has been pushed back eight (yes, 8) months. Instead of being released this November, we will be waiting until July 2009. Wow. Real cool.
Story here.
So much for "98 Days Left" as previously reported by MuggleNet.
What?!?!
ReplyDeleteI say again: WHAT?!
That is ridiculous. And I don't believe in this writer's strike business, they are doing it to make more money. I'm sorry, but they are going to make money whenever they put out HP. Silly.
ReplyDeleteThat stinks....
ReplyDeleteGah! That is ultra dumb. To the max.
ReplyDeleteDisappointing. And yes Drew I regularly read your blog but have temporarily skipped your Breaking Dawn review until I finish it myself. And I have noticed your disdain for it (also on Facebook). However I do like them and have heard the contrary that most who I have talked to that have finished it, quite like it, maybe even the best of the series.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I don't know who you've been talking to, but you should read some of the reviews on amazon and other online venues. People are extremely disappointed, and being quite outspoken about it. Even the most hard-core fans are revolting against SM.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I've spoken to very few people that I actually know who admittedly liked it.
Way not cool, and I find their reasons annoying.
ReplyDeleteSomeone tell WB that is unwise to anger a Pirate King.
ReplyDeletei'm so mad about this.... i was SO excited... NOW what movie do i look forward to? i'm depressed. :/
ReplyDeleteYeah, and Entertainment Weekly did a huge story on it coming out this year in their most recent issue. Oops! I think they are doing it for the stupidest reasons. Honestly, it's Harry Potter. They could open it on the most unprofitable movie day of the year (whatever that may be) and still make a killing. I was already having a bad month, but this was the straw that broke my back!
ReplyDeleteIt was a little embarrassing to see Dan Radcliffe's face splashed hugely across Entertainment Weekly's cover, along with a promise of a November release... Wups. I am still annoyed, and found it cruelly ironic when I noticed the countdown on MuggleNet went from 90 something to 330 something... Ouch.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I was so excited! Seriously, there aren't many movies that I look forward to anymore, but that is one. Lame lame sauce.
ReplyDelete*sobs*
ReplyDeleteEvery Hermione/Dobby shipper: NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
