What do you remember about me?

Inspired by Emily and Cami. Funny how these things have sort of become the chain mail of the new generation. At least it's not invading someone's email box, and reading is purely voluntary.

Be brutal (ha ha).

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

There you go. Cheers!

  1. AAAAH! The Portland Dance. I was JUST telling someone about it. I still know the song to it.

I have just one word for YOU:

    "Grolier."

  2. I remember staying up late to watch a movie (was it North?)and purposely starting it late to bug your overly-concerned-with-the-honor-code roommate. Fun times.

  3. Classic Drew moment... Bridge Over Troubled Water, 129th Ward talent show. That's what I think of when I think of Drew.

But I'm still very grateful for the drawing you did for the ward directory.

  4. HAhahahah to what you but on mine.

I like remembering the early days when we went to the Alhambra to see the dollar movies in the summer. We thought that was soooooo awesome.

And when I thought it was so cool that you asked if I could be a water girl or flag carrier for the marching band in the summer. Those were the days.

Of course there are millions more.

  5. So many to choose from, but I'm remembering the marching band trip down to Zion's. We were all playing "If you love me baby smile" and you did a funny song and struck a crazy pose to make a girl smile.

  7. I always felt cool when you and mike smith were around...it made me feel so old to have older guys talking to us. I always thought you had good advice for all of our stupid boy problems...ha, it's funny how silly 14 year old girls are!

  8. Of course, how can I forget the AWESOME trip that we took from Utah to Maryland, and the little jingle we sang every time we crossed a state line! Good times.

Also, I believe that this is the first comment I have ever left on a blog, so that's kind of a memory, right?

  11. Let me see if I can think of one that we don't refer to often! Um, well, I think I will do one from the time we visited you in Florida. (That trip is packed full of hilarious memories.) We were driving home late from one of the parks and were all completely giggly. I think Mom thought we were all insane. I remember talking about Mrs. Williams' chair tipping over in Em's English class. "I'm see'in stars!" We laughed at this for a while.

  13. There is no way to start remembering all these memories. To name a few:

    "Lets just see..."
"I called your mother, and she said your so stupid!" *moountain dew goes everywhere*
"Breath in, breath out, I love you."
    "TIIIIIIS said aunt Helga!"
-That guy saying you would make a awesome tatoo artist.
-You begging and begging to see the Aladdin show.
    "Two spares, are ya jealous!?"
"Father you mustn't do this!" "You are not my daughter!" "DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH! Duh duh duh!"

  14. When we were at YSA Family night and Bishop Wilson was asking what the love of God is synonomous to. Then you changed into your scary monster voice and said " CHarItY...ahem um....charity." Then everyone laughed. Also when you cheated at that thumb war. And also when you were awesome and helped me with all of those Ear Training songs I made and couldn't find for my final music tech, project. You did everything you could to help me.

  15. I must comment- my very favorite memory of you was when you sang "o holy night" with the shark toy, very animated and very operatic. And then Elise accidentally sat on it and broke it. She cried and cried, thinking for sure that you would hate her. I don't think you ever did...

  16. Hey . .. . that was MY shark toy . . .

  17. A surprisingly strong memory I have was that time in our sophomore English class when the class was apparently not doing anything so we decided to recite the entire Aladdin movie. It was deliciously fun how well both of us seemed to know it, and we were able to recite the thing with an alarming degree of accuracy. Ah...high school...

  18. I think the first time I ever talked to you was when I came to your apartment to borrow a movie and we talked about Harry Potter! But definitely my favorite is the infamous muraling party of SAD 2006. Good times all around.
